Smart Gold Impulse review: profitable, but sensitive to costs

A concise evidence review. Read the audit.

Verdict: the measured profit comes with cost pressure and an incomplete trading history. Smart Gold Impulse earned 926.20 USD after costs in the audited run.

A high win rate leaves a modest profit

The buy and sell groups won 88.3% and 88.4% of their trades. Those win rates describe how often a trade finished ahead; they do not show how much remained after losses and trading costs.

The 333.04 USD commission charge was modelled after the run rather than taken from the broker statement. The audit rates costs as a caution: higher execution costs would reduce the remaining profit, so a high win rate alone is a weak reason to trust this result.

The early years are untested

The audited M15 window ran from 2003-05-05 to 2026-08-17, but the first trade arrived on 2006-04-20. The audit rates that missing trading history red: the long date range does not demonstrate how the EA would have traded throughout it.

Profit depends on a small group of days

Most of the profit came from 29 of 904 active trading days. The audit's funded-account simulation also repeatedly breached its consistency rule, which limits dependence on one strong day.

This evidence concerns version 1.00 on XAUUSD at a fixed 0.01 lot. It supports a cautious reading of the historical profit, not an expectation that the same result will recur live.
